wilco (the album)

wilco-the-album

An impressive history and discography have made any new Wilco release highly anticipated.  Not being able to totally recapture that Yankee Hotel Foxtrot swagger, Jeff Tweedy and crew have still managed to drop solid LPs.  Their most current project, Wilco (The Album), is set to release on June 30th via, the “usual”, Nonesuch Records.  To no surprise they have offered the entire album up for streaming on their website (this has been the case for their previous three albums).  From what I’ve listened to this is a relieving return to original form unlike Sky Blue Sky.  Tunes I’ve been digging so far:  “Wilco (The Song)” and the Feist accompanied “You and I”.  Stream the album!
