First heard of The Sandwitches in this choice post, then out of nowhere I find their latest LP, How To Make Ambient Sadcake, magically appear in my mailbox. This trio from the Bay Area has some ridiculously catchy tunes and their album is a mishmash of different styles ranging from blues, folk and lo-fi garage. Several spins through and this could very well be one of the better albums released this year. This marks the very first release from the Turn Up! record label and if they keep dropping goods like this, they might just end up taking over the world. How To Make Ambient Sadcake is already available and can be purchased here.
