Secret Seven Records is prepped to a release a new compilation on the eve March that encompasses the vast range of sound coming out of the San Francisco area. The compilation titled In A Cloud: New Sounds From San Francisco and includes new tracks from Thee Oh Sees, The Fresh & Onlys, Ty Segall, Tim Cohen, Sonny & The Sunsets, The Sandwitches, Hannah & Raven (of Grass Widow) and tons more. Im stoked about hearing anything new from Ty Segall so I present this to you via the wonderful Secret Seven Records; “Hey Big Mouth” is the song and its a roarin’ raucous punk tribute, hard hitting and as snotty as the Dead Boys. You can pre-order the LP here.

I haven’t been shy in posting on the Fresh & Onlys this year. More than a few posts and even included them in my “Best Of So Far” list. Tim Cohen (F&O frontman), on top of everything else, has just released a solo project with Secret Seven and Empty Cellar Records (via Endless Nest Collective). [...]

Those familiar with Tim Cohen might, also, recognize him with the recently disbanded Black Fiction. His latest LP, The Two Sides of Tim Cohen, offers eerie psych-folk tunes and set Tim apart from his other endeavors. Very limited! Only 250 copies pressed (100 are in white). Highly recommended tunes! Buy here.
