Secret Seven Records is prepped to a release a new compilation on the eve March that encompasses the vast range of sound coming out of the San Francisco area. The compilation titled In A Cloud: New Sounds From San Francisco and includes new tracks from Thee Oh Sees, The Fresh & Onlys, Ty Segall, Tim Cohen, Sonny & The Sunsets, The Sandwitches, Hannah & Raven (of Grass Widow) and tons more. Im stoked about hearing anything new from Ty Segall so I present this to you via the wonderful Secret Seven Records; “Hey Big Mouth” is the song and its a roarin’ raucous punk tribute, hard hitting and as snotty as the Dead Boys. You can pre-order the LP here.

I haven’t been shy in posting on the Fresh & Onlys this year. More than a few posts and even included them in my “Best Of So Far” list. Tim Cohen (F&O frontman), on top of everything else, has just released a solo project with Secret Seven and Empty Cellar Records (via Endless Nest Collective). Those familiar with Tim Cohen might, also, recognize him with the recently disbanded Black Fiction. His latest LP, The Two Sides of Tim Cohen, offers eerie psych-folk tunes and set Tim apart from his other endeavors. Very limited! Only 250 copies pressed (100 are in white). Highly recommended tunes! Buy here.
