Alec Feld’s latest project, Golden Eye, is probably one of the most naturally complete sides he’s taken a part of. Apart from his solo-made disintegrating loops of Expensive Looks or the radically political hip-hop jams from Public Safety, Feld has teamed up with a few of his college friends in Massachusetts and turned more towards psych and surf-y influences. Well said words from the man himself proclaim the music as, “west coast sound meets east coast forests, equal parts land and sea, short but sweet…”

Alec Feld (Expensive Looks) has sent over this track from his new “rap/dance/r&b/shoegaze” project named Public Safety. At 8 minutes 20 seconds you can expect “Mutual Feedback” to be a grower but it doesn’t take too much time to reach maturity. Aside from this, Expensive Looks has previously sent over some great tracks and has an upcoming release due out on Mirror Universe Tapes.
