weekly mixtape//hold yr breath

oldmanpool copy

There’s something about plunging into a crisp swimming pool that makes me feel completely isolated from the masses in my surroundings.  The images in my chlorine filled eyes are familiar yet not completely defined,  a mash up of chatter (which I’m, most likely, not interested in) is almost completely filtered out through the water, and I’m completely floating in a medium where the normal rules of gravity don’t apply.  More themed than most of my mixtapes, these tracks (which also happen to be new/ish) are nearly as muffled as the bros in the pool crowd.  And Robin, I gots that jj for ya.

FINALLY: No, this isn’t the podcast, yet, but I’ve included a link to download this weeks mixtape in its entirety.  Enjoy!

Holiday Shores comes highly recommended from the Florida coast.  More of that reverb filled beach/bedroom pop that we all have come to love so much.  Their latest work, Columbus’d the Whim, is set to release on 8/4 via Two Syllable Records (home to other WTD favs That Ghost).  Pre-order.
