As you might have seen before, there is an eerie viral video campaign going on right now with guesses ranging from Goldfrapp to Xtina to Fever Ray to Lady Gaga. I’m leaning towards none of these, I get the feeling its someone less popular, if they’re known at all, playing a smart game that will probably end well for them. I do know these videos creep me out.

Caught wind of these tracks from the dudes at GOTC earlier today. Two remixes from, guy in the shadows, Village Riot: one of Fever Ray’s (Karin Dreijer Andersson) “If I Had A Heart” and the other of TV on the Radio’s “Family Tree”. Ironically enough, the TVOTR remix draws samples from The Knife’s (Dreijer Andersson’s other project) “Like A Pen”. Wow, and as a matter of fact he just created a myspace page, like just this very second. Check out his some of his other tunes over there, dude’s got it going on. Karin Andersson Dreijer scares the shit out of me. Not only has Fever Ray’s debut LP haunted it’s way into my favorites, but it’s third video/single, “Seven”, has found a way to visually chill me to the very core…once again! Lately, Dreijer has been driving my RSS feed absolutely bonkers. First, with a cover of Vashti Bunyan’s “Here Before” which is available for streaming here and available in a very limited release here. Next, with the above video along with a filthy dubstep remix compliments of Martyn.
