Diamond Rings is a Superstar-absolute. From the sequin-studded diamond basketball jersey to the co-ed dance moves and Stardust-costumery, Diamond Rings proves this undoubtedly. Please give this man more money, if not for the simple fact of seeing what he can do with a high-budget music video.

With the vocal intonation of Jim Reid and the beats similar to those of the early 90s dance music (The Real McCoy anyone?), Diamond Rings delivers another aurally and visually amazing song in the form of “Wait And See”. After watching this Im even more excited he is playing our mega-tubular-bogus-Shake Some Action SXSW Party, we are all in for a great performance, Im 120% sure of it.

Still going strong two weeks into our programming on, the great, Indie-Verse radio and we’ve got another nice lineup of tunes. We’ve got the local scene covered with some tracks from Fergus & Geronimo and The Uptown Bums. Also, my new collective friends from Oxford, MS, Cats Purring, have their fair share of play time. Listen to the show today at 1 PM CST and again on Saturday at the same time. We’ll be in Denton (at Rubber Gloves) tonight for our show with Crystal Antlers, Video and Uptown Bums. Come say hi. Head here for the link to stream. Hit the jump for the tracklisting.

Probably one on the most infectious songs I’ve heard all month (plus this hilarious, dorked out, video). So much, in fact, that I just dropped some change to get 1 of 300 copies (purple marbled vinyl, oh la la!) of the Diamond Rings 7″ split with PS I Love You. Not sure that I’d pick the dude to play on my b-ball squad, but I am sure that I’ll be spinning “All Yr Songs” for months. Hurry up, get on Hype Lighter to scoop this up before P4K dubs this “best new music” and everyone (along with their mom) wants one.
