Dent May (magnificent ukulele in hand) stopped by the Daytrotter studios and laid down four tracks. All were included on last years release, The Good Feeling Music of Dent May and His Magnificent Ukulele, and (yes) “Howard” is one of em. I still don’t get why everyone likes to shoehorn that Dent is “friends with Animal Collective”–because that has nothing to do with his sound–but the this Rock Island session is nothing shy of “magnificent”. Daytrotter just posted up their latest session with Wavves and even have a new track recorded. It’s listed as “Horse Sholes” but he called it “Poker Face” on the previously recorded set by Ray Conception. Well, whatever Nathan wants to call it is ok by me. Check “To The Dregs” + whatever this song is supposed to be called here, and check Daytrotter to download the rest.
