Ive had my eye on Aussies distributors of all that is good, Dream Damage records, for awhile, they keep me up to date on the lo-fi/kraut/garage/drone coming out of the other side of the world. Here is a good example from Jonny Telafone with “Stardate 2012.1221″.

Easily one of the “Most Rad Cassette Release of 2k9″, Pill Wonder’s Jungle/Surf was released cassette-style via the (great) Wild Animal Kingdom. Now, thanks to Underwater Peoples, yr analog PW collection can be completed as they are releasing this gem on 12″ vinyl (only UP’s 2nd LP release). Rather than tell you how “jungle-y” or “surf-y” this sounds, I’ll leave things to cleverly crafty wordsmith Sawyer Carter Jacobs…. (Pre-Order)
