After sweeping their brand of downer-punk through the Northeast last month, the boys from Copenhagen are finishing off the rest of the states with this trip. They’ll bring their bloody nostrils and calloused fingers to Rubber Gloves Rehearsal Studios in Denton, far from their icy Kingdom of Denmark. With them they’ll pack a damnful cacophony of guitar, cymbals and downtrodden lyrics that echo like they were birthed in a hollow tomb. Also on the bill is Denton two-piece Midnite Society, progeny and dissonant urchin formed from the death of house venue Majestic Dwelling of Doom. Hear them below on “2 Stoned 2 Bone” sounding as if the Reid brothers had taken ‘ludes and opiates instead of meth and lsd.
