B-more noise junkies Weekends (not to be confused with Weekend) are blue chip finds (and the debut LP) for the new MD label, Friends Records. Friends already seem to have a local-heavy and very strong opening roster and we’re glad to see the guys are doing well for themselves. Right now their first 3 LPs are up for pre-order and while we like all of ‘em, I strongly recommend Weekends’ Strange Cultures.
