It’s been months since I’ve caught any words from The Lawds and, just yesterday, I get an email with a new track. It seems Richard has relocated away from London and even “got a drummer and bassist and everything – it’ll be like one of those real bands off the TV!” Well, if you thought their months away would have given them time to polish/clean up their sound, you’d be wrong. “You Keep Me Waiting” is just as raw (if not more so) and honest as ever–and that’s exactly why we like these guys.
