Dent May (magnificent ukulele in hand) stopped by the Daytrotter studios and laid down four tracks. All were included on last years release, The Good Feeling Music of Dent May and His Magnificent Ukulele, and (yes) “Howard” is one of em. I still don’t get why everyone likes to shoehorn that Dent is “friends with Animal Collective”–because that has nothing to do with his sound–but the this Rock Island session is nothing shy of “magnificent”.
