There are plenty of good/great albums that are released within a year’s time, but it is a rare moment when a prefect album is created. Today is the official release date for Beach House‘s gorgeous Teen Dream, their first album on Sub Pop, and it is just that. Perfect. Already (and predictably) earning Pitchfork’s nod of BNM, as well as millions of blogger swoons world wide, this piece of magic can now be owned in a unique “collectors edition” type package and all without spending $50+. I’ve been eagerly waiting to see both and here they are at the same place at the same time. Amazing job on the flyer too, I might add. Oh my god, it’s three things I love all rolled into one. Gorilla vs Bear, Beach House, and the Granada. Oh, well, I guess it’s four things now. Because I absolutely love free tickets. This show is going to be crazy epic.
I would love to win tickets for the show. I am going to pick up the album after work at Good Records. Great place to get records, CD’s, cool shirts and posters and just generally awesome music.
usually i download an album early or download it when it comes out. but i make exceptions for bands like beach house, in which i wait until the release date and go out to a record store (in this case, The Exclusive Company) and purchase the album. I can’t get over how wonderfully dreamy Teen Dream is…AHH this show should be AWESOMESAUCE!

So what exactly do I need to do to win these tickets? Tell you that I’d absolutely love to go to the show? Tell you that I’m no more special than anyone else but you should still give them to me? I’m sure I could sacrifice a limb if you’d like?
