Sister/Brother label to our friends at Lefse, Waaga Records has just releases a free compilation of their “artists to watch for” for 2010. The comp includes a few local heroes (Sunnybrook, FUR and Abacus) as well as many others that, although unfamiliar, will be on my radar. From “hypnagogic” strolls to folk-y serenades, Waaga has pieced together something for everyone in this mix.
Soft Cat – It Won’t Be Long
FUR – Black Castles
White Mountains – Trails
==============
Also, I’d like to add that once Denton homer–B-more relocated–Soft Cat looks to release his upcoming Wildspace in the very near future. With “It Won’t Be Long” as one of the feature cuts.
