Slumberland is sweeping up all the best twee. I’ve mentioned this before, but now that Ive stumbled upon Liechtenstein, who are certainly not from the US, this whole Slumberland-twee-hostile-takeover seems to be getting real. Liechtenstein are a three-piece twee-pop band whom reside Gothenberg, Sweden and sound most similar to the great 80s group Shop Assistants. Liechtenstein recently released a 10-inch with Slumberland and are in intent on touring all over Europe early next year, so if you happen to be from the motherland, check them out. This song is semi-new and was featured in Slumberland’s “Searching For The Now” compilation.

Damn it ! Another great band from Sweden. What are they eating to create so many good indie-pop bands ?
You might like First Aid Band if you like Liechtenstein, it’s another swedish girly band and it’s kinda good.
Anyway, thanks for the discovery :)
