Not to be confused with the Jay-Z joint from 2001, or the Mötley Crüe song from’87, its not even a cover of the Liz Phair song from her legendary album; this Girls Girls Girls is from Assassins 88 who hail from Oz (Australia for you laymen). This duo makes thrashy and often abrasive lo-fi tunes that feel as if the band recorded a slick indie-pop record and then someone spilled their rum & coke on the sound board and what comes out is golden. You can purchase a few artifacts from this band through their record label Dream Damage.
