Staying on the CMJ motif, here is another band that will be gracing the festival this week (three shows). The outfit is The Tony Castles and no they are not a “Who’s The Boss” character singing lead on a certain electro-pop outfit. This band is more similar to Krystal’s or White Castle’s tasty little morsels that good enough to send a stoner into a dizzy spell “Pirates” is their 6-minute strawberry-jam of a demo they recently put up which rolls in and out of funky back beats and soul-soaked falsettos that only sem to make me all stoked for a full length. My suggestion is to pour a drink, choke down a ‘lude, play this song, and float into the orange marmalade sunshine.
