
Very new, rad stuff out from White Mystery, similar to the sound the Standells would make covering MC5 but with more soul. I don’t know if the modern youth know but the original garage rock bands were not all lo-fidelity, hi-distortion; the original bands had that vital soul. White Mystery has that. The female-fronted band comes by way of Chicago and has recently put out a single titled Power Glove on the wonderful HoZac Records; the unfortunate thing is the singe has already sold out, but I have no doubt that you will have a hard time finding music from this band. Oh, look there’s one now…
