Don’t be fooled, this is not anything Robbie Charter. I’m not gonna lie, the first time I heard “Cocaine Afternoon” I thought that new Avalanches‘ album was no longer in the same company as Detox or Swift and Changeable. Oh well, it’s a breath of fresh air to know that Organ Morgan has the breakbeat chops to to catch my ear in nearly the same was as “Since I Left You”. In the process of recording a massive 26 track LP, Matt Mayes has given us a taste in the likes of his Cocaine Afternoon ep and has pointed out some other great artists in the Cardiff area. No official release dates or label info, all I know is that I’m salivating for that LP. After listening to this, who wouldn’t “wanna have a party”?
