Just getting re-acquainted with myspace a couple of months ago, I completely forgot about the eureka! moments I would get when some random band added me that I actually liked. Dash Jacket, on the other hand, fit into a category that is to cool to be filed under any (insert random word of surprise and awe here) situation. West Coast slacker jams that could could accurately be compared Wavves with the exception that their songs don’t include goths or demons. However, there is something in their two-part harmonies that make these tunes stand out. If it weren’t a douche move, I’d post up every song they’ve sent because all of them are killer jams. According to Matthew, there is something in the works with Insound selling their artiste unique CD-Rs so keep checking around or hit the guys up via dashjacket@gmail.
