Despite the hilarious title of this tune, “Lindsay Brohan”, Javelin are not joking around. Actually, I was just recently familiarized with Javelin after reading a track review at some really obscure, off-the-radar website. Their latest, self-released, album Jamz and Jemz is completely sunsoaked with beach-y synth and loop genius. I’ll go ahead and say it (like everyone is saying about tunes this Summer), this will go perfect on any mixtape related with pools/Summer/beaches/flip flops. Oddly enough, it seems that this LP was released in the cold chills of Winter.
complimentary:
Not only does Javelin appeal to fans of Summer related goods, but those couch potatoes that have mastered the art of Mike Tyson’s Punchout.

This reminds me of OMC’s “How Bizarre.”
This band goes well with a good mix of Ducktails and CFCF.
