Joey Casio is a one man freak show of dance. An integral part to the K Records rolodex of artists, his nasaly voice crooning over house loops is quite difficult to mistake. His most recently released 7″ split ep Share the Cup is an anthemic tune, “Share the Cup,” along with a remix of the same song by Selector Dub Narcotic. The recording is raw as shit, but one of my favorite pieces of his work. The album cover offers the key lyrics to the track and tells us, “hey! quit being such a dick!”. Tracks are available via iTunes or at the K Records store.
