We’ve already posted a track (Dirty Projectors – Stillness Is The Move) from the phenomenal forthcoming Dirty Projectors album Bitte Orca. That album comes out via Domino on June 9. We have thus far neglected, however, to mention Dirty Projectors member Angel Deradoorian’s new solo project, Deradoorian. Lovepump United will release her Mind Raft EP on May 5. The opening track Weed Jam may not be the best track from the EP, but I find myself going back to it again and again. Even though Deradoorian doesn’t sing any actual words on this track, her voice and the general vibe totally call to mind Grace Slick on White Rabbit. Perfectly titled song.
