Out next week on April 28th comes the debut LP Summer of Hate from Crocodiles, clocking in at a brisk 34 minutes. This art-punk droned out album releases on the heels of their breakthrough single “Neon Jesus,” from 2008 and much praise from friends No Age. The lead single off the LP, “I Wanna Kill” delivers on their early success and “Soften Skull,” has influences of their fellow tourmates in The Faint. Do I like it? Yes. Do I love it? No, but it’s a definite recommendation to check out some of their tunes and possibly buy their album. Crocodiles are playing April 22nd with The Faint and Ladytron at the Granada in Dallas, TX.
